When doing the stair, at the finishing stage, it can give you some challenges: how to stain the side, riser and the step in the same tone because as we know the side and riser is very thin wood, the step is usually a thick solid wood so they absorb staining colour is different. That why sometimes we see some stair finishing with the lighter colour on the riser and side than the steps.
