Install new nosing for stairs?
When you change the floor from carpet to hardwood floor, if the stairs’ nosing does not exist yet, you have to instal the new nosing. There are many sizes of nosing width from 4” and different for hardwood and laminate vinyl. When you stall new nosing if the new floor is hardwood and tile or something can be stabled the nosing has to be leveled, laminate or vinyl is ended by stuck under the piece of nosing.
The wider and more curved the nosing the harder for the worker, usually that is a custom measurement and installation, so it will take more time to measure, order, and install.

How is the good install nosing?
The nosing looks nice and curves naturally after finishing and colouring is okay, but look at the meat between the cut to see how fit it is, the gap under the nosing and drywall (foundation) we can assess the skill of the worker.
Some workers order the piece of nosing separately or order for the whole piece, it is up to the way they install them. Some situations could not measure the whole piece because the wall is not straight or curved naturally.

Finally, Doing the curve nosing is difficult, so choosing the team that has experience in installing these is very important.
